Everyone’s Climate Series: Risk, Responsibility, Reputation.

We're past the halfway mark of the critical decade for climate action. The IPCC and International Energy Agency are unequivocal: failure is not an option. Climate change is now well-recognised as a financial risk, a source of opportunity, and managing it is a fiduciary responsibility. Yet in WA, emissions targets remain unlegislated, the clean energy transition is stalled, and the cost — to business, to reputation, to people — is rising.

Risk, Responsibility & Reputation is the second event in the Everyone's Climate Series. It draws a line in the sand for WA business: on risk, on legal exposure, and on the financial cost of inaction.
Directors' duties. Personal liability. Insurance exposure. Investment portfolios. What WA gas really means for Asia's clean energy transition. And what legacy WA's business leaders leave by sitting on their hands.
Speakers: Sharan Burrow AC, Dr Jatin Kala (IPCC), Dr Kate George, Rob Grant, Kate Evans and Lacey Filipich.

Bring your colleagues and board members. Bring friends and relations. WA has everything it needs to lead. The question is whether we will.
